They do work (if you read the last post)--we did 10 seconds--just about the time the marshmallow started to puff up big. S'mores are good (mine was delicious) but sometimes, 4 year olds just want the marshmallows more. : )

I LOVE s'mores in the microwave. When my niece was here this summer, I made her some since it was so dang hot outside and she loved them. You're right, though...the key is to catch them just when the marshmallows puff. Thanks for making me hungry.
